Important Notice Regarding the WHOIS Data Reminder Policy
This post is to pre-notify customers of an upcoming communication from one of domain name providers.
SRSPlus is one of our Global Domain Providers (.com, .net, .org etc) and will be directly contacting all our registrants in accordance with ICANN’s WHOIS Reminder Policy.
This is to ensure the contact information contained in the public WHOIS, relating to your domain name is accurate and up to date.
If you have a need to carry out changes to the record, please contact Weycrest to carry this out on your behalf. We are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of WHOIS information for domain registrations on our account.
It is worth remininding registratrants of the need to keep contact information up to date. Not only for renewal purposes but if ICANN or any other person notifies our provider of an inaccuracy of a registered domain name, then they have to take reasonable steps to investigate and to communicate with the registrant to correct the information.
If the accuracy is not corrected within a “reasonable time” its possible for a registration to be cancelled in accordance with ICANN’s WHOIS Data Reminder Policy
